Refund policy

AtΒ The Literary Oracle, we want you to feel confident purchasing from our bookstore. Please read the following policy carefully so you understand how returns and refunds work.

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it

  • It must be in its original packaging

  • You must provide proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

Once your return request is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your item.

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival.
If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at support@theliteraryoracle.com so we can assess the issue and make it right.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Digital products or downloads

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

If you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact us before sending it back.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
The quickest way to receive a different item is to:

  1. Request a return for the original item (if eligible), and

  2. Place a new order once your return is approved.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification.

Returned items must:

  • Be unused

  • Be in original packaging

  • Include proof of purchase

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days

Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to finalise the refund.
